Kaazing Adds Ray Bingham, Oracle Director, to its Board

Brings Decades of Strategic Experience with Transformative Companies

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – August 25, 2011 – Kaazing Corp., leading company focused on enabling the living web, today announced that Ray Bingham has been named to its board of directors. Bingham brings over three decades of executive management experience to the board. Currently, he sits on the boards of four public companies, including Oracle Corporation.

“Kaazing is one of the truly disruptive companies around today,” said Bingham. “By enabling the ‘living web’ with a fundamentally more efficient infrastructure for virtually all web applications, Kaazing will influence how we conduct our lives for decades and will change how consumers and enterprises use the web. ”

Bingham’s career has spanned businesses in high tech, chemical engineering, and hospitality real estate development with accomplishments in mergers and acquisitions, global trade and venture capital. From 1993 to 2005, he served in executive management roles at Cadence Design Systems, the world’s leading electronics design automation (EDA) software company. He was named executive chairman in May 2004, after serving as president and chief executive officer since May 1999. He joined Cadence in 1993 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Under Bingham’s leadership, Cadence developed from a $360 million company to a $1.3 billion global industry leader. During his tenure as CEO, the company’s technology leadership grew through a series of strategic acquisitions, internal research and development and venture investments. Bingham also directed Cadence's global expansion into India, China and Russia, a decade ahead of today's focus in those emerging markets.

In addition to being a director of Oracle Corporation, Bingham sits on the boards of Flextronics International Ltd., Fusion IO, and STMicroelectronics NV. He also helped found and serves as a Director of the Silicon Valley Education Foundation and is a board member of the National Parks Conservation Association.

Bingham earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from Weber State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. Additionally, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Weber State University.

“Having Ray Bingham join our board adds even more management and strategic depth,” said Jonas Jacobi, chairman and CEO of Kaazing. “With his experience shaping the enabling technologies of the last few decades along with the deep understanding of enterprise software companies, he will bring us a very valuable perspective.”
