MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – May 2, 2012 – cPacket Networks has announced today a series of advanced features for its cVu product family that enable unprecedented intelligence for traffic monitoring and aggregation switches. This advanced intelligence can significantly improve the efficiency of operations teams running data centers and sophisticated networks.

Because of cPacket's exclusive hardware and software technology, the cVu family offers enhanced pervasive realtime network visibility. This includes granular performance monitoring, microburst auto-detection, and filtering of network traffic based on complete packet-and-flow-inspection or pattern matching anywhere inside the packet payload.
